I'm passionate about making counselling accessible and results-driven; Creating a safe, relaxing space where we work collaboratively toward your unique goals with evidence-based approaches that deliver measurable change.
I've spent the last decade working across 85+ countries, mediating conflicts between governments, NGOs, and industry leaders with competing interests. I've sat in rooms where trust seemed impossible, where cultural differences felt insurmountable, and where people struggled to be heard. Through this work, I learned something profound: beneath every conflict, every communication breakdown, every resentment, there are human beings seeking connection, safety, and understanding.
My path to becoming a therapist has been unconventional. I hold a PhD in Exploration Geophysics and have built a career in international diamond trade ethics, conflict resolution, and cross-cultural mediation. But it was my own experience in therapy—navigating my own wounds, attachment patterns, and search for authenticity—that showed me the transformative power of being truly seen and supported. That personal journey changed everything. It gave me the self-awareness, compassion, and emotional intelligence that now inform every aspect of my work.
Through mentoring women and young people in male-dominated industries, I've witnessed firsthand how the right support can help someone reclaim their voice, rebuild their confidence, and step into their power. I've learned that whether you're negotiating international agreements or navigating a difficult relationship, the same principles apply: trust, empathy, emotional attunement, and the courage to be vulnerable.
Now, as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I bring all of this experience into the therapy room. My background in high-stakes negotiation gives me unique insight into power dynamics, communication patterns, and what it takes to repair trust when it's been damaged. My scientific training helps me approach challenges with curiosity and precision. But more importantly, my own healing journey has taught me that lasting change happens when we feel safe enough to explore our deepest fears, wounds, and desires.
I specialize in attachment theory, trauma-informed practice, and relational counselling because I believe our relationships—with others and ourselves—are at the heart of our wellbeing. Whether you're struggling with communication in your relationship, carrying resentment from the past, healing from trauma, or searching for a stronger sense of self, I'm here to walk alongside you with compassion, without judgment, and with genuine belief in your capacity for growth.
My vision is simple: to make therapy feel accessible, human, and transformative. You don't need to have everything figured out. You just need to be willing to show up as you are.
